Senior UX Designer - Family Safety & Social Features

• Lead end-to-end design process for family safety and social networking features • Create user-centered designs for geolocation sharing and emergency response systems • Design intuitive geo-fencing and location alert interfaces • Develop family communication and social networking user experiences • Design local events discovery and community engagement features • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on complex safety features • Conduct user research with families to understand safety and social needs • Create and maintain design systems for consistent family-focused experiences • Design for accessibility and inclusive family experiences across all demographics • Prototype and test emergency response workflows and safety features • Mentor junior designers and contribute to design culture and processes • Ensure designs comply with privacy regulations and family safety standards

• 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in social, family, or safety applications • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process for complex features • Experience designing location-based and real-time communication features • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Principle, ProtoPie) • Experience with user research and testing methodologies for family products • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles • Experience designing for both mobile and web platforms • Knowledge of privacy-by-design principles and family safety considerations • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams • Experience with design systems and component libraries
